Sweet Corn Paratha


Hello Foodies,
Corn contains a good source of nutrition value in it so it is very heathy food. It also contains good levels of some of the valuable B-complex group of vitamins. Sweet Corn kernels are eaten as a vegetable. There are many recipes of corn. Corn paratha is among one of them. Today we will prepare the delicious Corn Parathas.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 2 - 3 servings
Ingredients:
- Boiled Sweet corn ~ 2 cups
- Wheat flour ~ 4 - 5 cups
- Green chilli ~ 2
- Ginger-garlic paste ~ 1 tsp
- Ajwain ~ ¼ tsp
- Asafoetida (hing) ~ a pinch
- Red chilli power ~ ½ tsp
- Pepper powder ~ ½ tsp
- Curd ~ 1 cup
- Butter ~ 1 TBsp
- Sugar ~ 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves ( chopped) ~ ½ cup
- Water ~ as required
- Oil ~ as required
How to prepare:
- Boil the sweet corn in pressure cooker for 1-2 whistles. Grind the boiled sweet corn and green chillies.
- Also make a paste of ginger and garlic.
- In a container, add the mashed sweet corn, green chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste and add the other ingredients.
- Mix all the ingredients and make a soft dough by adding required water.
- Make balls and cook it in a tava by adding oil/ghee.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce / curd.
