Hello Foodies,

Corn contains a good source of nutrition value in it so it is very heathy food. It also contains good levels of some of the valuable B-complex group of vitamins. Sweet Corn kernels are eaten as a vegetable. There are many recipes of corn. Corn paratha is among one of them. Today we will prepare the delicious Corn Parathas.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Yield: 2 - 3 servings

Ingredients:

  • Boiled Sweet corn ~ 2 cups
  • Wheat flour ~  4 - 5 cups
  • Green chilli ~ 2
  • Ginger-garlic paste ~ 1 tsp
  • Ajwain ~  ¼ tsp
  • Asafoetida (hing) ~ a pinch
  • Red chilli power ~ ½ tsp
  • Pepper powder ~ ½ tsp
  • Curd ~ 1 cup
  • Butter ~ 1 TBsp
  • Sugar ~ 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves ( chopped) ~ ½ cup
  • Water ~ as required
  • Oil ~ as required

How to prepare:

  • Boil the sweet corn in pressure cooker for 1-2 whistles. Grind the boiled sweet corn and green chillies.
  • Also make a paste of ginger and garlic.
  • In a container, add the mashed sweet corn, green chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste and add the other ingredients.
  • Mix all the ingredients and make a soft dough by adding required water.
  • Make balls and cook it in a tava by adding oil/ghee.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce / curd.
