Egg Masala Gravy | Egg Curry


Hello Food lovers,
Egg Masala Gravy, the first non-vegetarian recipe we are sharing with you all, hope you all will love it and will try for sure. It can be served with rice or roti.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Yield: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- Egg ~ 3
- Onion ~ 1 large
- Tomato ~ 1 large, 1 medium
- Green Chilli ~ 2
- Ginger- garlic paste ~ 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder ~ 1 tsp
- Coriander powder ~ 1 tsp
- Cumin powder ~ ½ tsp
- Red chilli powder ~ a pinch
- Pepper powder ~ ½ tsp
- Sugar ~ ½ tsp
- Curd ~ 1 Tbsp
- Asafoetida (Hing) ~ a pinch
- Cumin Seeds ~ ½ tsp
- Cinnamon ~ 1 inch
- Cardamom ~ 2
- Cloves ~ 4
- Kasuri Methi (Fenugreek leaf) ~ ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil ~ as required
How to prepare:
- In a container, boil the eggs with required amount of water and salt for 10-12 minutes. In the mean time, chop the onion, tomatoes & spring onions. Make the ginger-garlic paste and slit the green chillies.
- Heat oil in a pan, fry the boiled eggs till it become golden brown in color. keep aside the eggs.
- In the same pan, add hing, cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves, let them sizzle.
- Add onion and saute till it become golden brown in color, when done keep aside ½ of the onion fry.
- Add the ginger- garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes off.
- Add the tomatoes and green chillies, saute for few minutes.
- Turn off the gas and grind the mixture into smooth paste.
- Turn on the gas, add the smooth paste and add all the spices and sugar except kasuri methi, cook for few minutes.
- Add curd and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add kasuri methi and salt.
- Now, add the fried eggs and cook for 2 - 3 minutes.
- Turn off the gas.
- Serve hot with rice or roti.
